Jonella Landry originally hails from Brown Deer, WI. and she is of African-American and Korean descent. Her Korean name is Gongju Lee [이공주]. She attended Brown Deer High School and studied Linguistics at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a concentration in Korean and Japanese languages.
Jonella enjoys a variety of hobbies that all leads back to help refine her craft of acting even further. During her free time, she enjoys playing the cello, watching films, learning foreign languages (she’s studying 12!), traveling to international countries, drinking craft beers and quality whisky. All of these are unique aspects of her that she brings forth in her unique performances to authentically portray the characters truthfully.
